m8 settings ?

ok just ran a new xxtra reciever and switch box in my m8 and truggy. but im having trouble with my steering . when i put steering in normal on the m8 i can only turn left and when i change the steering on the m8 to reverse i can only turn right . what am i missing here guys ? i know no one here runs the synthesized stuff nomore but that shouldnt be the problem right ? it should be something on my m8 im not catching , right ? and no i dont have my m8 manual anymore , it got lost when i moved a couple of months ago . the wifey more than likely tossed it out when i wasnt looking !!!!! never mind , i found the manual in the rcdocuments link. everything is now all-good
