I'm sure looking forward to it :)
Bashers and racers alike will have things to look forward to. Aside from the actual races on the track, we expect to have events like speed runs and long jumps (things bashers like to do :) ). We're sure to have a "Best of Show" competition, too - so make sure those vehicles are buffed up nicely - we'll make sure we take the glamour shots before they get dirty :003:
We're getting closer to a time and place (still likely to be Barnstormers) and I'll make sure everyone is updated here as soon as we know.
If anyone has ideas for events, make sure you post them here so we can plan out the agenda!
Joe

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Yep - when I last talked to Mike, he also mentioned a freestyle event. What would it consist of if you were to define it, crazyjr?
Thank you for your input :003:

ever thought of a tug-o-war? that would be a site. especially with brushless powered beast'. also, what about holeshot awards? how about high-tech awards? just some thoughts....

Batfish. I think it would be like the real monster truck freestyle, practically anything goes, at least a 3minute time limit, preferably till you had a failure or batteries dumped, but the number of entries might limit that. Got to have a few kickers and one large kicker jump(maybe borrowed from the long jump)
Squee. Good idea how about Teams of two, double the trucks double the smoke. I know who my partner would be, right Coolhand

Mike would have to bring a lot of drivetrain parts if we had a pulling contest. there would be lots of broken diffs and tranny's maybe a motor or two

Instead of a tug-of-war, I could see a tractor pull-type of event. That may be worth looking into.

The first one is not very good. I seen a dually tired clod with stock motors pull it around a track with it bending under the weight it was carrying. I'm not sure how much was on it but it wasn't much. The second looks heavy duty enough. Thats a good idea Batfish
edit 1: I was looking at the tamiya pull sled and its not a tamiya, its an Aristocraft I have one of their buggies and the wheels are the same
