CD Mount fits a lightning also you just have to drill holes in the UE middle skidplate. on the hardcore one you have to mod the chassis for the spur to clear on the Lightning you just dont use the tranny rails and it clears Np here are some pics

I'll take one when they become available. I've been checking this thread periodically.. I'm really suprised this is gonna happen. Add me to the list if there is such a thing.
You see what I mean mike there are allot more people interested in this then you might think. There is going to be a very high interest in purchasing these mounts and they are going to sell like hot cakes. I bet you could sell 100 of them in a couple of days. You might want to up the anti just a bit.

Or just up the price on the 30 you make.
I smell a bidding war.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
In the G3 yes, but not in the G3R, there most motors would collide with the rear shocks.
In Arctik's G3R they made holes into the lower chassis plate and mountet it directly behind the steering.
I understand that I will have to drill out the lower chassis plate. I am more curious if the one being producing is like the one Arct1k used. For the Gorillamaxx users it would be nice if we could order it without the bottom plate (because we wouldn’t need it…. right?). It would save Mike some time and us some money.

It is the same unit. This center diff unit comes as a kit with everything you see in Arct1k's setup. Taking the bottom plate out of the kit will not really save RCM any time or money, becuase that is the easiest piece to make. The way this unit is produced makes it pretty much usable on any of the 3906 Maxx type setups. Some will require a little bit of cutting or rigging to make it fit the way you might want, but it will work.
Exactly, the bottom plate is by far the most simple part of it all.
Apart from including the screws maybe
Additional to the CD/Motor-mount release a new service/option in the shop would be great. A kind of web form, where you fill in the lengths you need for custom drive shafts.
Don't know what you guys think of it, but I would definately appreciate something like that
