I hate paying for body's... - 01.22.2010, 05:40 PM

I hate paying for bodies, so I won't pay for it. My solution:

It's my Rustler VXL on a Turnigy 3S 5000mAh 20C LiPo, Velineon motor, Quark Airmaster 80B ESC, and with a custom airbrush painted towerhobbies #1 Super Saver Club Member box/body

Oh, and I've got a question... My E-LST body looks crap too, but I think a tiny box won't be a good solution for such a large/heavy truck. Who knows a good and cheap solution?

Nice! I thought yours was a new Losi. I've made a buggy body out of paper mesh'a and used a lexan body for a mold.

Pfft, don't gripe. My Baja 5T bodies will be costing me around $180 a pop. A body for my Flux was around $30, which is nothing in comparison.

I agree, a tiny box is a won't be good for a large/heavy truck, how about a bigger box? Maybe made out of that super newfangled high tec truck bodywork material for extra strength, its called dual layer corrugated cardboard and is available for free from your local electronics dealers skip.
