The UE diffs are just regular Hyper 7/8/8.5 with UE's diff output shafts while the Hot Bodies are hardened diffs. I don't have any experience with FLM's hybrid bulks but I do have UE's VBS bulks GA bulks with UE's 8 and 6 spyder gears respectively. Setup is easier on the VBS compared to the GA bulks.

If I were you, I'd buy the UE diff outputs from UE and the Ofna or Hot bodies diff from ebay and the GA or FLM bulks. This will cost you less than $200.

UE's VBS:

GA bulks with captured hinge pins:

Ofna/UE 8 spyder diff:

Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)

So george, are u saying that UE 8 spiders are better than hot bodies? Would really like to hear feedback from you since you have tried both..

On UE's site the guy states that he tried to cause failure to both the 6 and 8 spider diffs. The guy managed to break the 8's but not the 6's, stating that the torq diffs are not meant to handle a powerful brushless system, and that the 6 gear diffs were able to hold up.

Hmm interesting..I read in UE forum that Monstermaxx (owner) managed to break the UE 6s not as 8s installed in his dually BL truck. But that was couple of years back. Do you have the link for this? I want to read what actually failed in the 8s..

I still have to break any of them (Hot Bodies 6 or Ofna 8 spiders). I had also good luck with the 6 spider diffs (Ofna and Kyosho). The Ofna's are cheaper compared to the Hot bodies ($20-25 against $60-64 respectively).

I'm currently running Ofna 8 spider diffs in my gorillamaxx on 5S/6S with the Castle Neu 2200Kv motor.
