Screw size? - 02.08.2010, 12:56 PM

Hi Guys,

Any idea what size screws are best used when connecting a Castle MMM 2200kv to a RC-M Losi 8 motor mount? Long enough to be secure but not too long of course, anyone got a good idea?

Thanks!

M3x8 is the way to go most of the time.

Screw should not go more than 5mm into the motor, so if the motor mount is 3m thick 8mm will be ok. If it is thinner use 6mm screw.

The stock screws are M3x6mm capheads. I actually used a pair of M3 x 8mm screws with a lockwasher to keep it in place.
