Oh my gosh! I just accidently ran/crashed/dove/landed into a frozen pond with my MMM! It scared the poop out of me! It stopped the power but it works now after drying it off.

Maybe a little late or untimely to ask but, The 2650 and 3s sound like a great power combo for the 4X4 Slash.
I know you only got 60 seconds of driving time befor your meltdown but, any positive comments on performance ?
EDIT; Sorry, thought your were runnin' 3s. I reread and seen it was 4s.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I have dunked one of my E-revos completely submerged twice, even had a $260.00 NEU attached. Let it dry, works like new. No Lipo issues either, no worrys.

I was running at a BMX track and couldn't see a huge portion of the track but was confident enough that I could take this big jump then come back up a banked by turn by feel bringing the truck back into sight, not so. Remember the huge jump? Well now comes the huge icy splash! Thats all I could see! I was up in a viewing tower just like a driving stand but was a BMX viewing tower. Jumping out came mind. Anyway I ran down the stairs, ran over, pulled the truck out of the water, pulled the body off, disconected the batteries and said a prayer. When I got home I opened up the MMM, the reciever and put a fan on both of them after they dried out completly I called my cousin Brian up who is into this stuff as well (has a BL Losi 8t) he was sharing in the pain and when I plugged it in and counted to 3 as I turned it on the phone battery died on the 3! Brian thought the world ended! LOL it was so funny! Anyway the MMM works great!

My MMM has seen it all! How you guys make yours fail is beyond me.

Yeah the chemicals are sealed and the water shouldn't sport enough electrical resistance to hurt the tabs.

Update - 02.15.2010, 08:37 PM

I put the replacement ESC in a ran a few minutes on the street in front of the house and all was good. I went to the sand dunes this weekend and took the Slash. It was a blast for the first pack, I ran it until the LVC kicked in. I recharged the pack and went to run it again, but it seems to lose power and cut out occassionally now. I also noticed that the fan runs all the time, even when it's stone cold. As soon as I turn it on, the fans is running constantly. Is this one hosed too???
