Most likely it would of cost nothing more. I would put my $179 chassi g4maxx up against the $400 maxxler chassis any day.

For $179 you received a chassis and top plate, correct? This project kit is a little bit more involved than that. Maybe you have not been following this from the very begining Beau, but he is not only supplying the chassis, but also the center diff mount, slipper/clutch, and one or two other items with this kit, which you had to acquire on your own. Plus the fact that this unit provides better options for battery placement. In fact this setup leaves things open to the imagination for individual setup designs. So comparing the G4Maxx really is not a fair way to make your case as far as value is concerned. Sure it is still a Maxx truck no matter how you slice it, and $400 may even be a little bit steap compared to some, but we have no idea what this is costing Matt to reproduce. We all know that CNC work is not cheap by any means. Plus as far as I am concerned he deserves a little something for making a few improvements to the original design, which had some really weak areas on the chassis. UE Lightning chassis's are selling for $800 and even though we may not agree with that people are still paying out that much, because that is what they want. People have been waiting for 2 years, and want this Maxxler chassis whether you believe in it or not.
