That reinds me of a bet I won at Cheeburger Cheeburger http://www.cheeburger.com/home2/index.asp. Nice home page, look at what it says under the burger . I only went there once, but it was when I was in shape .

I hope the electric technology moves forward and gain control once again.

Who here has heard of the 'Bloom Box' ? Very interesting fuel cell invention that is so efficient and small that a cube it looks like 5x5x5 inches could power a typical household, obviously with supplementary equipment to make it wok however. Seems like a really good thing to make a great hybrid electric vehicle. Runs on anything from Propane, Natural gas, gasoline, hydrogen, etc, etc.

But I have my eye on some other technologies, if they turn out to be not fraudulent, will revolutionize the world... that is, if not 'falsely debunked' by 'special interest groups'.

Those 10 ton 100KW unit would be good for the Leaf . A 10 ton Ballard unit would probably be able to supply over 1MW .

Edit: Forgot to mention one thing...Look at the board of directors for Bloom Energy.

I wonder how long it will take hobby city to come out with a replacement li-ion battery for the car.

Yeah, I don't expect much to come from it. Colin Powell is a board member, so I think, well I don't know what to think of that, all I know is I would be cautious to jump on it. Not really a solution to anything but a good hybrid.

Nah, that's manual labor, which I am allergic to. I prefer a direct calorie-t0-electricity conversion.

Yeah, the Zombie is a great little electric car, and I was going to mention that they are using A123's in it now but it shows it in this video. I would love to have that thing to cruise around town in.

My favorite fast EV is definitely the Wrightspeed X1, AC Propulsion drive, LiPo battery pack, and 0-60 in ~3 secs. Built on the Ariel Atom chassis.
