Im 99% sure that mike is making them:) But you will need to use the 2.2 - 3.0 rims... 2.2's wont fit... as i see it
But remember, slayer wheels are 14mm hex and SC8's are 17mm

I know Mike is busy, but has he given an ETA on the conversion? There are alot of guys here that are anxious to get a ten conversion.

ETA is VERY soon. I should have the basic conversion package done today or tomorrow if all goes well. The spur gears will be custom 52t mod .8 Delrin and will likely be the holdup on the kits in the end. A 12mm hex is an afterthought, but these trucks use a 6mm axle vs. the 5mm standard on the 12mm hex vehicles, so if a 12mm hex is used the wheels will need to be drilled out(and wheels must be 30 series as a 2.2 won't work as mentioned above). :)

So Mike, just for the benefit of everyone here, what will be included in the kit? Are there any optional parts? Pictures (you can email those to me and I can host them)?

For those who want to plug in numbers into the calc:
- stock tires are ~4.125" diameter
- diffs are 3.889:1 ratio

The kits will include everything needed to convert the car(mechanical - no electronics). This includes the motor mount, spur, pinion, etc. :)

i didn't read the whole thread, but i'm wondering if you could use these FLM adapters to run the 17mm buggy wheels. they use the 6mm axles.

EDIT: now the link is right...i had the wrong ones listed first. :)

any thoughts?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, i'm new to the site. What sort of motor's will fit the mount, or will it be generic drilled to fit MMPRO, MMM, R8's, etc?

It will be able to fit Tekin RX8 or similar sized motors.

With the 52t spur, it will accept 15-24t mod.8 pinions(small pinion limited by the motor diamater rather than the mount itself). With a 36mm diameter motor, it will accept 12t - 24t mod .8 pinions. The motor can be installed/removed and/or adjusted with a single screw that is easily accessible. Pinions can also be swapped without the need to remove anything aside from the pinion itself(like all our mounts).

We don't do pre-orders, but they will be available soon enough.
