Kyosho Diff mount? - 03.04.2010, 11:23 PM

I asked this question on several treads on another forum and received this warm "response" So I thought I would give it a shot here. Does anyone own a Kyosho Inferno MP777 or MP9 if so and you would be so kind as to give me the measurement of the screw placement center to center across one of the center diff mounts at the bottom where it mounts to the chassis and the measurement from the bottom of the mount to the bottom of the center diff bearing?
Thanks in advance!

I never could find anyone to give me the dimensions I needed (or the time of day for that matter) to know if an idea I had for my D8 would work or not, so I took another route and purchased the center diff mounts for an Inferno 777 (about 7 bucks) and compared them to my D8 diff mounts. I knew that the bearings were the same and as luck would have it the spacing of the mounting screws to the chassis turned out to be the same also. The diff bearing on the Kyosho mount is about 1mm higher off the deck than the D8 and the Kyosho mount is also 5mm taller and that will all work perfect with what I want to do. There are two changes I will now make to my D8, one is to change the motor mount to the Kyosho Inferno VE motor mount purely for reasons of convenience like setting gear mesh changing motors, the other is to facilitate the use of Mikes slipperential. Before anyone chimes in, I am aware that there is another motor mount that is very similar to the Kyosho mount, I tried it and that didn't work out well at all and I will leave it at that! I'll post some pics after I get all the parts ready.
