Since I got rpm bearing carriers I can't use my proline 23mm adaptors on my e maxx. Snape the drive pins as soon as I tighten them. I have tried shimming them but it does not help.I just snug them and pop, The pin snaps.WTF
I know this is an old thread but didn't want to start a new one just ot give a plug to somebody I don't know. This thread was the best fit for the subject.
I've tried the knock off and the alum give away where the pins are and just get chewed up an gets sloppy. The pro lines are a better quality and hold up much better in the pin area but eventually give in. I've found they still get sloppy are around the wheel hex though or the axle nuts loosen up eventually. So to the point... I was surfing and came across these way back when and figured what the heck no one else was bidding on them so got them for the .99 plus shipping. Turned out best 23mm investment I've made. Swapped out the almost new pro lines I had just to run these instead. What brought this to mind was I was surfing again and there was another set just waiting for me at 99cents. So got some more for the other savage. Shiipping was slow last time but the product turned out worht it. They look skinny and I was hesitant but they work great. They hold those big ass moabs and mashers 40's onto the Savage XL and I've put plenty of power through it as nitro and brushless. If you looking for a 23mm adapter give these chance. They work.
I have a set of those. Bondonutz runs them and he recommended them to me. Same thing, got them on ebay for dirt cheap. Haven't put them on yet, but will be soon once I'm ready to dig the E-Revo back out this spring/summer.
