Many thanks to the mods, please disregard my recent frustrations.
I did exchange a few PMs with sandman after watching the 100mph rustler video ( wow, now that was cool stuff, and looked pretty real to me ). I explained about how he should have introduced himself and his truck, and how to properly construct his thread and explain about his rustler. But, alas, he was just too ganster ro understand thats not how we roll around here. Shame really, the rustler in the video was crazy ( youtube > nicks rustler ).
I had my fun with a Rustler once upon a time. I believe the vxl rustler is overpriced for it's performance though, and it's lack of durability. When the Associated RC10T4.1 brushless is finally released I may pick one up, priced much more reasonably than the Rustler. I believe that the 2wd stadium truck is and always will remain a viable part of the hobby. Last summer at my track I honestly think that this class had the largest number of participants through the course of the season.
Wow, I can comprehend the posts again. Thank you to whomever did the fine cleaning job.
I think the problem with the rusty/pede/bandit is that in the beginning it's fun, and seems quite easy to build up and put some power through. The problem is you get to a certain point and squeezing more speed out while trying to keep it on the pavement and in one piece becomes futile. I remember a time when I loved my FLM Mamba Pede but now thinking about it just makes me yawn and fall asleep.
