Must be 60k in that truck, the interior stuff alone must have cost more than 10k. All custom. And he traded a 03 cobra stang for it, straight up. What a douche, right place at the right time.
Its a Legendary Auto. They were based in Florida. I don't think there around anymore though.

Serious man, I couldn't hang with that thing. With the turbo yes, but I pulled it off and the motor going in it is just a stock LS1 with a huge cam and full boltons and such. Should be around 430 to the wheels and if I need more, I'll throw the nitrous back on it.

Yeah, ins will be higher than the lightning and given the parts cost I will have full coverage. Usually carry comp without collision (I own an autop body shop so i get to fix my own mistakes...)

As far as tires, I go thru a set in 4k miles usually, either worn out or more likely riddled with nails. Just my luck. Gas cannot be much worse than the lightning, 12mpg... Pretty good about avoiding the cops. We have some good cop free roads and street running is popular enough to have organized times that the cops do not know about.

Hey, everyone could do with a few extra inches, and if the viper does that, well so be it. I consider that a fringe benefit, and who cares how big you dong is when you go by so fast it makes the ricers heads spin. I have never had an issue with a nice car, unless some stuck-up pompus douche knozzle owns it.

I hear ya...Tires and brakes don't last long with me either, but thats cause I burn em off and wear em out.

Can we get these three members banned for too much 'off topic'?

How much does he want for that cobra?

I will run you with the zx12r... A little faster than the lightning so it should handle that f body. I have seen the high side of 190, and it should do a high 9 sec qtr with a warm tire and dry tarmac. Maybe low 10s as I am a bit on the hefty side, but it helps with the wheelies!

Now if my buddy has his way i will have a ported blower, bigger lower pulley, drag radials, traction bars, and a full dyno tune on the lightning... Should do 475 at the tires with that, and a 75 shot of nos will cool of the charge temps nicely in the summer... The viper may have to wait...

I'll probably let it go for 20. The motor is EASILY worth half that if you can even find one, and the kit wasn't cheap. I think the rear end alone (chrome 9") was around 2k. Keep mind a paint job on my car will knock that price down.

A ZX12R? HA! I couldn't hang with that. I'm looking at a low 11 second 1/4 with a good 60' time. Nowhere NEAR a high 9 second pass.

Ah, so you have the cobra kit? Hmm, might have to work something out then... How custom do you want to go with that paint job? Hopefully very custom.

Stripes, flames, ghost effects, painted decals, I can do pretty much anything with paint.

Geeeshzz James you would be a great neighbor to have for getting custom body and paint work done. I wish we lived in your area. Hell I would cut your lawn and paint your house for a good customized paint job on a Camaro or a Stang. All you need is a little custom stereo work and you would be Cosmo central for autos. Not to mention the R/C races and beers out back afterwards.

Its actually my dads. I'm really not sure about the paint job to be honest. Not terribly custom. Most of it would be body work. It only has 2 dings or so, but there are some changes I had in mind.

Back on topic for a sec: It's not a lack of moderators, it's simply a lack of common courtesy.

A couple of moderators and Mike himself should be all that's needed to moderate a respectable forum. Yeah, there's gonna be the odd bad egg, but if people ignore them, they will just move on. Nobody (at least most people) don't like talking to themselves.

Who you calling respectable? Don't you let these guys start thinking that kind of crapp. Your right though. For the most part we do a pretty good job of letting peole know when they are out of line or just need to move on. Still a quick access button would be a great add on so we can get to you guys quickly to thwart off intruders, that is without having to dig through threads to find all of the Mods PM info.

Even letting people know they are out of line sometimes just gets them going. Best to ignore them like they never even posted.

The quick access button would be nice I guess. But like someone said, you can report a post as spam and the mods will get it (not sure what such a button looks like since I don't see the same page you guys do). Other than that, only Mike and maybe Serum can ban people. Mods can just delete/move posts/threads.

agreed

this is the only rc forum thats not over run by mods who think a bad word or 2 is a reason to ban someone
