Do People Still Use This Stuff? - 04.15.2010, 09:38 AM

I was never into the all metal bling Emaxx thing. However, I did happen upon quite a bit of UE, Dace and other metal Emaxx parts. These include several chassis's, tons of arms, full bulkheads w/shock towers, diff cases, gears, lots of shocks and other misc. parts. Some of it is new, some of it is slightly used.

I am looking at selling these parts locally and wanted to know from anyone here if they hold their value or not. I do not want to be greedy, but at the same time, I would like to use the money to fund some of my other projects. Thanks!!

Their forum looks busted. I had no intention of selling this stuff here, just wanted some opinions. I hope to sell it locally so I don't have to deal with GayPal and/or Egay.

If you're willing to ship to a military address, I'm interested.

Do any of you even know who this guy is? Only 51 posts, and zero information in his profile. I would be very careful if I were you.

The UE forum works fine still, you just gotta be logged in to see the threads and posts etc.

Selling locally wont yield very good prices unless you happen upon some UE enthusiats, or guys who atleast appreciate what UE means in terms of quality.

Ebay & paypal do suck, mainly because of fees, but if you follow the simple selling rules ( send via recorded delivery ) then its hassle free.

No one has anything to worry about which is why I was preferring to sell locally. However, given the amount of interest I am getting, that is probably changing. I have never been fond of selling goods over the internet, I like to meet the person, let them see the product and pay cash. I also don't like posting personal information and pictures about myself all over the web.

But anyway, I am back from my family weekend, and have emptied most of one of the boxes. Included is a pic. This is maybe 1/3rd of what I have to sell.

Out of respect for the rules of this forum, I will not post any prices and I don't have any yet. Again, I just wanted to see if there was any interest.

I will be responding to PM's later today.

Those are some nice VBS and other UE stuff you got there. I would be interested in some things so long as you're willing to ship to a military address.
