remember, traxxas supports Feigao enough to run them in all of their vxl products...are they lighter? yeah..but their slash 4x4 only weights about 6oz less than my 8ight. So, Feigaos can't be all bad.
Bad debate point. In my Slash 4x4, which weighs about 8oz's less then a regular one, the VXL must be ran 11/54,the lowest possible gearing, on 3s, for right under 40mph, and temps around 160. Also look at all the temp issues in the Rustler, and Pede. You gear for over 50, and temp issues become apparent. Their inefficiencies at higher wattage is obvious.

I think Harold's point of quality control is valid. It's hard to guarantee a performance output from a motor, when results are mixed . I've seen people claim 50mph bashing speed from the XL motors, but know mine couldn't handle 40. I think it would be a hard assumption to make, that everyone will have as good of results as you are.

But as always I like hearing them, so by all means, keep sharing :)
