Oops - 06.05.2010, 05:43 PM

So I decided to strip down my g-revo to give it a clean and a few new upgrades when I noticed a rattle in my MMM...

Looks like I lost a chip at some point but it could have been a long while back... Any idea what this one is? TVS?

Can anyone identify which model this one is - Oct 08 so i would think v1/2? It has bullets on both sides...

It was running fine when I started dismantling the car so I assume so - Not done a bench test yet...

when my MMM went bad, that was the exact chip that was smoking whenever i plugged it in. it armed just fine, but would not give throttle and it made my steering servo go nuts.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

That is a TVS. Good call!

It still works because the TVS is there to protect the servos and RX if something goes wrong with the BEC.
