-=My Brushless Family=- - 06.09.2010, 11:50 AM

Decided to take some pics of my brushless cars ive bein into RC for years but only stepped into brushless about 8-9 months ago. I dropped nitro all together minus 2 nitro cars i consider classics and couldn't give up. Either way i sold most of my car and only kept a few that i wanted to convert to brushless and here there are.

What i have is.......

Losi Muggy CC2200KV/MMM/6S set up haven't ran it yea so i still have no ideas on speed
Losi 8ight CC2650KV/MMM/6S clocked so far at 105MPH and im pretty much stuck there
Kyosho InfernoGT/VE CC2650KV/MMM/6S 103MPH
AE RC8B CC2650KV/MMM/6S 101MPH
Xray 808 CC1800KV/MMM/4S built for the track drives real smooth
Ofna CRT.5 Medusa 5900KV/MM/2S
And last but not least is my Mugen MRX4R that i converted electric so far there is no conversion for it so i had to fabricate my own motor mount and trays The cars running CC2650KV/MMM/6S, i figured if that set up worked so well on the buggies it should work even better on a lighter, more streamline car so far ive gotten it to 105MPH but i wasn't fully hammered on the throttle i plan on testing it again soon once the rain lets up.

Ill post better pics minus the bodies later!

Those GRP'S are pretty much bullet proof, to just to bad they only have those ugly rims and not the 16 spokes anymore.

Ive tried the ofna foams but they blow off easily at 70+MPH i think there double sided taped on?? if you could believe that?? Right outta of the box you can peal the foam off the rim?? whats that about??

I know what you mean about the Ofna's. They work for me though, as I don't go fast enough to blow them off. I used the supra sales foams and the same thing. That doublesided tape just didn't hold up. I trued and reglued them with contact cement for better results. I still prefer the good ol' rubber for speed.

Yes the only thing i take offroad is the 808 its my main race machine, the CRT.5 will soon hit the track too ill prolly end up taking off the 17MM hubs and going back to standard 10th scale wheels for the track. Don't plan on racing it just a back up car for the track
