Sorry, no. That's a little bit too inefficient of a motor to run reliably in such a heavy vehicle.

the kit works in BOTH the 5b and 5t. Buy two!!

Did anyone know the size of that battery tray, so I can check if my batteries fit or I have to order new ones?

Thanks in advance.

are 8s lipo enough to power a baja 5b and get the same or slightle better preformance than with the gas engine ? For the 4wd rampage i quess that 12s is the way to go ?

For the Baja 5b or 5t a 2215 or 2217 are more than enough. For a Rampage mt, a 2230 or larger is a must. Be warned though, i ordered a 2217 3 months ago and still havent seen it.

i ran 10s in my rampage tt conversion and it was more than enough power. wheelys and 55-60mph. i am sure 8s is enough for a baja cuz that is what Mike ran when testing but it all depends on what you are after. also, the 2230 isnt required as the 2215 does the trick just fine for the 5b or ramp tt. or any of the lehner 30xx series. but for the 5t or ramp mt i would go at least 2225 or lehner 3060.

I bought my 2215 for $425 at offshoreelectrics. They have a very good price on them.

Mike - could you please post the size of the battery tray? Thanks.

Complete sell out of the kit. Congratulations, Mike. I knew these would go over big!

Battery tray internal dimensions are about 88mm x 166mm.
I am about halfway through the next batch, so they won't be out of stock for long. :)

Hey Mike that looks great, WELL DONE, can the mount be adapted to work on the regular chassis plate or a Carbon rear chassis plate. Or are the offsets for the transmission different??
