Just did the calculation...

Acceleration is 3.2G average over the whole course. Too bad it doesn't show mid speed -- it would be interesting to see acceleration for the first 1/2 of the track.

Note that Top Fuel dragsters average about the same acceleration (and the world record run was at approx 3.4G.) Top fuelers are considered the fastest accelerating manned vehicles in the world...

How cool is it that an electric scale model performs almost exactly on par with fuel powered full-scale?

Wow.. Being that I dragrace 1:1 cars, thats awesome to know. Now only if we could strap someone to it lol.

That's too cool! Just based on visual observation, my car seems to pull harder in the earlier stages and the seems to top out a little before the finish line. Too bad nobody includes a mid track mph sensor with the timing systems available these days to record the speed. I for one would love to know how the acceleration is over the course of the run.
