Which motor T8 to go with Tekin RX8??? For revo

I have been out of rc for the last year or so and last I knew the tekin rx8 was the controller to have if you wanted super butter smooth throttle control (good for a bit of low speed crawling in trucks like the revo).

is this still a good setup? Anything better out there now?

What is a good price to pay new for this setup? I was thinking the 2050 T8 motor on 4s....

What would be a fair used price for this combo?
