They all are the same except 2 of them are hardened and 1 is not. I read somewhere on here about helical cut 1/8 gears that would fit the hybrids and those would be super strong! But can't remember thread.

You need the ones with the hardened gears (mike can get you one)

the helical cut (they are more helical than the Ofna/UE's) is nice. They are 43/10 instead of 43/13. They are nice for those with a centerdiff.. ;)

Just my 2 cents but if you plan to run alot of power I would go with the UE 8 spyder diffs in the FLM hybrid. It only took me 4 runs to eat up the rear Ofna diff in my truck. The spyders I'm talking about. I think the extra surface area of the extra spyders will take the stress better.

The ofna diff uses crappy gears. the HB uses hardened. difference of day and night.

but the UE 8spiders are fair priced, considering they come with a pinion, 4 bearings, shimms and the UE cups.

Yeah, thats my point. For the money I think they are probably the best you can get from what I have read. I'll be a test bed for everybody. I just got my ship notice from UE today so I should have the 8 spyders by Thursday. As long as I get my Gorillamaxx chassis from Mike by Saturday I'll have it running this weekend. If they last longer than 4 runs we all know they are better! LOL

I might just bring my dial indicator home from work that I use on the real ones so they come out perfect.

I was planning on running 10k oil in the rear and 3k oil in the front. Does that sound right for bashing?

I would run 10k all around first. I run the thicker oil in my single gmaxx. The thicker oil gives it a push. But that is only in the rear for the thick oil.

Peace!
