thanks for all the (relevent) replies, expecially coolhandcountry.

i'm going to put it togeather this weekend and have 2 more small stupid questions.

i havn't soddered on anything this crucial before, modded my Xmod and fixed my headphones, but that's it so forgive me when i ask if deans sodder is better to use then regular sodder, i only ask because it says it provides the best connection on silver and gold surfaces but says nothing about copper and,,, whatever the wires on the 9920 are.

also i run powerpoles but have not once heard anything about them on this form, are they somhow inferrior to deans or do you all just have a strong preferance?
