Proper switch for brushless - 07.24.2010, 07:23 PM

Hey guys,

I've just got rid of the switch on my MMM, since it was causing problems. I was wondering, is there something like a heavy-duty switch that can go between the MMM and lipo, and physically cut the connection between the two? Because that would be ideal.

Does such a thing exist? Solder bullets or deans to each end of the switch, and just slot it in...

id be looking at something like a massive relay if you really wanted it to be a switch... it has to carry those hundreds of Amp bursts which you probably require.

Indeed, it would need to be a massive relay or similar, rated for about 300amps to be on the safe side- good luck fitting that on your truck...

Just unplug the lipo when you are done running or take a break- you wont forget as with the esc turned on the motor will chirp at you every ~10 seconds until you either turn off the esc or unplug the batt.
