Power Connectors on New Systems - 06.30.2010, 01:47 PM

I notice that the new system(s) below:

Havoc Pro SC/Ballistic 550 Short Course System #3115 & #3116
are advertised to include a "Traxxas®-compatible battery connector."
It was my understanding that Traxxas hadn't licensed their THCC design to any other company to manufacture, making any "compatible" connector illegal.
Has Novak indeed licensed the Traxxas High-Current Connector?

Be nice! From what I've seen, kb's one of the few not-so-heavy-handed mods over there.

I'd also point out like at the Traxxas forum - personal insults etc are not welcome here either.

Sorry , that really wasnt meant as an insult ?

I was just pokin fun at ksb51rl for his question about Novak using the Traxxas HCC ..... And BrianG is right , he is one of the better mods on Traxxas.com .

I personally didn't take it as bashing per se, more like gentle ribbing. Chances are that if they know who he is, they probably know that he is a less aggressive mod as well.

Although, to Arct1k's credit, a seemingly good natured thread could (and has) turn bad fast. Maybe add a smiley at the end next time - makes a big difference in how a post is taken...

I want to ensure we are welcoming to (non competing) vendors on the forum to - I've personally found direct interaction with them most beneficial.
