Anyone tried the Losi 1/8 Xcelorin 1300kv motors yet?

I got the motor installed in my E Revo today.

18/52 using Mod 1 is the gearing.

I wasn't very impressed with a 6S run.

Power wasn't awesome, but fairly decent.

Temps were well in hand up to the 5 minute mark. The 10 minute mark found the motor warming up, almost too warm for the finger touch test.

To most people, this isn't pushing motor temps. But to me, if it gets THAT hot, alot of power is being lost to generate that heat.

In the ESC settings, I found motor timing set at low.

So 2 problems:

This setup is undergeared and the timing is too low.

I'll correct these things and give it another go.
