I wish I was at home to show you the instructions included with the 5334R axle carriers and which explains that these 2 rings have to be used only if you have the inner bearing of the 5334 model !! But I'm not at home
 There are only 2 rings for 2 axle carriers because there is one inner bearing per carrier. That's why they are called "bearing adapters". We're maybe talking about 2 different things Bondonutz...

If you're talking about the 2 rings you surrounded in you pic then you're talking about bearing... I hate this discussion
