BL HPI Pro 4 - 01.19.2006, 11:51 AM

Hi!
What are your recomendations about of a BL set up for a HPI Pro 4? The car will be used to be run at parking lots on drag a circuit racing. Circuits using 6 cells and drag with lipos3s,4s or 5s.
Thanks
Onix

I am using a Lehner Basic 5300 with the MGM (120 amp) controller in a BMI TC4. Great setup and works well with a 6 cell pack, 7.4v LiPo or even a 9 cell GP2200 pack.
Hope that helps.
Matt

Put some money and get yourself a 12020 controller with a Lehner 1920 5 turn motor. If your car did not make it to the 60s or the 70s with this setup in conjunction with lipos, then come and beat me up as much as you want, dude.

For 3s, go for a Lehner 4200, 4s a Lehner 3600 Basic. The MGM 80 amp should have no problem with either setup, maybe even get away with the 60 amp.

yeah ive been told that the feigao 380c motors and lipo's make a pontent top end and long run time combo. i have one in my St and it flew with 12 cells(heavy shit) and a low turn motor, if i had a li-po pack it would of been much faster.
