Mugen MBX5T Prospec?? - 08.24.2010, 12:36 PM

I have the RCM motor mount for my Mugen, and I was wondering if I could run the mount upside down that way the motor(castle 22000kv) would be in the same spot as the nitro motor? And would also allow me to keep the factory radio box. Thanks

Here are a couple photos of the Mugen.

No, can't flip it upside down, the top and bottom hole patterns aren't the same, and neither are the screw sizes.

But you can flip it round and run it with the motor in the front - opposite the servo

Technically speaking you could do just as you were thinking. Though the machined holes would be facing the wrong way, you could mount the motor where the nitro was.

Here is a naked pic of my custom servo tray from RC Monster. All my trays are custom fit for specific trucks and for specific batts. I do this because the batteries are snug and do not move.
