The BEC is likely toast. Contact CC.

I kinda doubt it had anything to do with the orange signal wire honestly. I think the BEC just fried and made it look like maybe the orange wire had something to do with it. If anything, shorting of the red and brown wire would be more suspect...

If the servo blew, you might want to look into getting a replacement servo driver board. It's cheaper than a whole new servo. I blew a ~$90 servo a while back (similar BEC issue) and the driver board was only $26...

Hm, I completely didn't expect CC to repair BEC's..
And it's $6!
Time to cancel my eBay order...
If a non-warranty repair, if it's been soldered on, is it the same thing?
Hm...

It was a super cheap servo, so it's all good.
Hextronik HX12k, about $7 on HobbyCity, but I got a deal on an Airtronics 94358 for $40 shipped.
