Current, eh? High voltage could actually be more likely to kill a controller than high amps, since these controllers usually have thermal shutdowns caused by the heat produced when a lot of current is drawn. High voltage can actually damage the components, and that is a huge reason why there are capacitors on the input of controllers like the Warriors and MGMs.
