Ah, UPS are the culprits for high international shipping costs? That explains alot- I'd go with some form of recorded USPS international, even if postage takes slightly longer, or maybe some other carrier like TNT? or FEDEX- cant do any harm looking at rates and shipping times- 2 weeks is normal transit time for USPS 1st class and Im used to/ happy with that really ( so everyone else should be too )...

I always choose for USPS International. Their own personal record from the US to me is 3 days, I'm very happy with them :)
