Traded one of my Slash buggies for this... - 09.26.2010, 10:45 AM

I traded one of my slash 4x4 buggies for a SWEET RC8E. This thing is almost brand new and I got it for a straight up trade, roller for roller.

check it out:

i feel like i got a really good deal. i thought about going FT on all the parts that i could, but i might just get the threaded shock bodies and run the shit out of it the way it is.

dude sweet ride! what a trade!! had a full set of the threaded bodies, but cant remember what i did with them. personally i would stick with the ones you got, way better shock caps then the 2 piece deal, and easier to get equal preload. do have a set of the ft carbon towers in great condition if you would like them, just pm me.

thanks for the offers. i think i'm gonna save for a new MMP and use that. I ordered some new aluminum shock caps and those ought to be here tomorrow hopefully.

what i am having no luck finding is the shock retainers...you know the clips that give more spring tension? i can't find any of those anywhere. if anyone knows where i can get some of those i'd really appreciate it.

Have you ordered your spacers yet? I just built a RC8T-e, but had the threaded shocks to go on with the build. I would be glad to send you the pre-load spacers. Just send me a PM.

PS Sweet deal on the buggy too!
