I've skied in Idaho (Kelly Canyon, Pebble Creek, Sun Valley), Montana (Big Sky, Bridger Bowl), Colorado (Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Vail, Telluride, Durango), Utah (Alta, Park City, Snowbird), Wyoming (Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole), California (Kirkwood, Northstar, Heavenly, Sqaw Valley), Oregon (Mt. Hood), New Mexico (Angelfire), BC (Whistler), and Alberta (Lake Louise). Not to mention Wisconsin (Cascade, Devils Head) and Michigan (Boyne)... hahaha.
Thats just the big names, or personal local favorites although I do really like Targhee/Jackson Hole, and the Tahoe region. But in general, I wouldn't say one is better than the other either... most offer something unique or different, and frankly its skiing so as long as they got some fresh powder who cares!??! :)
