dx3s with telemetry in the rc8 for temp and speed and a BLS452 servo too. it rocks. use the airtronics 360z in the 4x4 slash. went with the spektrum cause it was cheaper, lighter, could use telemetry, had m8's and used m11's just dont care for them. mostly dont need all the extra crap, weight and price for the airtronics tx's to race my rigs. but to each his own i guess.

Dang! I have red... anyone have green that I can borrow?!?

Futaba 3PK 2.4 works awesome for me. I really like the way it feels and anything from Futaba is great quality.

I've had a dx3.0 for a while but the range issues with this particular tx hopefully will be gone when I recieve the dx3s. Seemed like a reasonably cheap option as I can use current rx's and upgrade to a telemetry rx later.
