Recently my BC6 has been telling me all of my lipos (My TrueRC's is all I have...) are at 3.8V on one cell, and the other is at 0.00V.
They won't charge em at all.
They seem to be charging on a straight LiPo Charge (I always Balance Charge them..).
However I checked the batteries with our voltmeters (two actually), and they all read about 3.8V consistent on both cells.
Looks like the BC6 is at fault.
Does anyone know how to recalibrate a BC6 charger?
Cant see anything in my manual about calibration- that seems more like the balancer board or leads might be borked, might be worth doing a continuity test or something, even if it means opening the casing up on the charger..
The harness I received in order to charge the hardcase pack (Pretty much just the bullet connectors connected to the balance tap and the + and -) had some bad cold solder points.. I made up a temporary harness just to make sure it'd work, and it did... I'll solder up a new harness later today and well see how it goes... May not be the charger afterall...
I did some continuity checks of the harness and it checked out great.
I guess when I plugged them in, the wire lifted out of the bullet connector, and so it was a no connection. But then when I did the 2 or so continuity checks, they checked out fine.
