Just got my order in, and I got 1512/1.5y 1800kv in a 1520 box. I already got in touch with castle and their sending a pre-paid mailer. Are there going to be any 1520's left and if not what happens?

on the other hand, I did get my 1717 car version. I was worried I was going to get the air version.

Just a heads up. The 1520 is no longer on the motor sale, we have sold out. If you have already placed an order for a 1520, it will be processed. Plenty of the 1512, 1518 and 1717 motor's left. The invoice for my exchange 1717 air motor says air version also.I need the Car Version.I hope its wrong.

Yes.

10 - 1520's
10 - 1717's

It would be ok with me if we changed that to:

10 - CAR 1717's
5 - 1520's
5 - 1518's

Is this do-able?

Got the last of my 3 orders. 2142-7225-4839, missing 3424-1800 34mm 1800KV 24 Stack Motor.

Really sucks because it was for my friend's new heli kit, which is just sitting there waiting for a motor.

1520 shipped on 10/5/2010.



He has e-mailed me and I will be contacting him shortly with details on how to get it fixed.

I've just searched this thread for ''6mm'' since my 1717 Air also has a 6mm shaft like others but didn't find a CC response. So whats up with this? Can we order a 5mm shaft or ... ?

The car version has a 5mm shaft.

The 1717-1500 has 2 flats milled on it. Flat to flat is 46mm. Off the flats the can diameter is 49.5mm. The 1717-1500 will work on the Align Trex 600 with motor mount mods (holes opened up for larger screws to fit holes in the motor).

I had a total of 1717 Air version and all have the 6mm shaft and the car has 5 mm shaft. Just letting you guys know that it will be a problem for the pinion selection for the Air version. Just email them as they have an outstanding customer service team.

The air version I recieved had a 6mm shaft too
