All you would have to do is get your hands on another 6S and put them together as a 12S and fire it up. Of courese you would have to have an ESC that could handle that kind of power. We all know the higher the voltage the more power you will experience, along with cooler operating temps. Sounds like you are having enough fun just with the 6S.

Nice backflip off the jump. See man, we told you you'd have plenty of air control with the XL conversion if you bumped up the power from 4S. Looks like a lot more fun now.

Actually, I have a fair bit of air control even with 4s, I think it was the drag brake that was screwing it up earlier cause after I turned it off, it was better 6s is fun but I dunno how long the truck will last under that much power, especially the ESC.

I have been running 6s on my MMM since I've bought it, Yeah the fan always seems to run. But Remember it will thermal shutdown before meltdown
Yeah That backflip over the jump made your tires look like some Jumbo Kongs Mid Flight!!!
You must have your slipper completely locked in that vid... I have a CCNeu 1520 and it doesnt make my truck get thrown around like a rag doll as bag as your vid made yours....

I nearly smoked the slipper pad earlier because it was slightly loosened so I cranked it all the way down to keep it from slipping. Its utterly useless under 4s lipo, let alone 6s IMO. I suppose its better to have the fan running then have no fan it all *cough, Brian* The motor stayed pretty cool though, so I know that it definently struggles on the XL conversion with 4S so that leaves me with either going back to 4S on stock chassis to gain back thermal stability and my wheelies or stick with 6 and mess with the ESC settings and possibly gear down even more with a smaller spure. I'm still worried about prematurely failing the MMM due to running 6s all the time. Decisions decisions.....

The center tranny cups are HD after I upgraded them but they don't make the outer drive cups in HD but they are pretty tough. I'll just have to drive the truck some more on 6s with punch control and just see how bad the wear and tear is with it.

Yes they do, you can actually hear the tires rubbing on the body on the slow mo jump.

A smaller spur won't gear you down it will gear it up, a larger spur is what you would need
RC-Monster RC8T 1515 2.5D/MMM/5s RC-M 4500mah
SC10 MMPro 13.5T 2s NeuEnery 5000mah

Taped wheels. -
10.10.2010, 06:34 AM
Yea I would say that how ever you taped your wheels that it did not take. Your wheels are balooning alomost like regular wheels do. Did you clean the inside of the tires with Alcohol before you appied the tape, and of course let them dry? Also next time try using re-enforced packing tape. Anyway nice video and its good to see you playing with your newest creation on 6S. Imagine 12S?
