general brushless motor question - 10.10.2010, 07:56 AM

i just got a new motor, and it was fast out of the box, but it seems like after the second battery, it has really gotten a good bit faster.

is this possible or am i just imagining it?

could be breaking in, or warmer batteries so more punch. i bet you are not imagining it at all.

there is nothing to break in. I would imagine it has something to do with the battery or state of charge. A warmer battery fresh off the charger could easily perform a little better than a battery that had been sitting.
