I was worried about that too. I was planning to run a crossbrace from the TVPs into the m3 holes on the top of the mount, where you have your turnbuckle mounted.

I hope it fairs better being a more solid mount, rather than a turnbuckle with plastic ends that may have some give. I too think the better soln would be a redesign in the mount (v2.0) The top plate needs some redesign to fit the larger spur gears as well as fatter motors (hits mounting screws.)

I understand what Mike is aiming for in this mount, and nothing's perfect 1st time out. What we may need is a HD version for larger trucks &/or bigger motors. Basically heavier, beefier, hopefully 70 series, and not so much mind to making it svelt.
