Yes -- a blower with 2 x 40mm fans will be available at the same time as the 2028 (and will ship with the Baja conversion combo...)

Can you estimate the price spread between the XL HV version and the 8S XL version about to be released?

Will the HV XL version have the same current handling capability, or a lower-current/higher V capability for the same approx power output?

The HV will have a lower current, higher voltage -- just like you said -- yields similar power output, but at higher voltage.

Also, I can't find any info on the footprint of the esc anywhere yet. Does anyone have any specs? I know Chris has been playing w/ one...

Need to plan a place for it in my ongoing savage conversion. I want to cut a plate for the electronics next, and don't know how big a space to make for it :)

Footprint is the same as the ICE-200 air controller. The heat sink is different, but shares the same footprint.

The 8S controller has a switching 5A BEC (with programmable output voltage,) the 12S controller is opto.

Yes I do know that.

It will include a pinion -- 14 tooth. We will have option pinions of 12tooth, 16tooth and 18tooth.
