Mugen MBX6 V4 conversion - gears suggentions, need help!! -

Hi guys,
I'm completing the V4 conversion for my MBX6, and I have 3 questions to those who already have such an experience in the following issues:
1) if I will use direct traction with std.pinions, should I use the long shank ones with V4 conversion kit, or standard lenght?
2)Is it possible to try to use the Mugen 48T central spur? Will I have enough space between the components according to you??
3) Which kind of pinions' teeth number do you suggest for 4s batteries (under 5000mah/30-40C) + motors under 2000Kv + 46T-48T central diff Mugen spur??
1) You can run a normal pinion if you don't use mech brakes. If you run mech brakes, than you'll need the long shank pinions, because you need room between the motormount and the diff mount for the brakepads and brakedisc.
2) Why do you wanna try 48T? Your motor will be more on the outside since you'll need a bigger pinion for the same ratio and you already have a bigger spur. 48T spur is not worth the money imo.
3) 14-15T with a 2000kv is perfect for that motor, depending on the track size.
Thanks Stoom, I'll run the 46T original spur + 14 or 15T pinion :-)
The sweet spot should be one of those 2 pinions. Just try what pinion gives you the best temps. Prolly a 14T on a medium track and a 15T on a big track.
How do you like the V4? I'm ordering mine after the weekend. I'm waiting on the bank transfer to my paypal account.
