Not fond of steel either. My main is 'concrete tilt up panels'. I do the layout/lift design then go and lift it when it's ready. Biggest job I had was 210 panels and I had a 250t crane lift it from 3-4 positions. A job when we get back from xmas has 44t panels. Had the salesman ask me if we could lift a 70t panel, I had to ring a few companies to see if it was possible. I really like this job but the work is sparratic. Supervising the whole job is better as your always busy. Being in this industry I hear about cranes toppling often. I like watching other rigging jobs as well, like that chinese multi story youtube that was posted and the TV show called monster moves.

Age 35. Another small consideration for money spent per month (on top of what PBO said about exchange rate) is shipping costs. I reckon you guys in the US get more bang for buck.
