Just want to show you a few pics of my newest build. It started out as a Revo 3,3 but now it is changed with the RC-monster motormount, RPM arms, Tekin RX8/2000 kv. combo on 5s lipo and Proline BigJoe on Axial oversize, and a few other upgrades.
It is meant to be a monster basher, and more upgrades will come.
Do the Lst diff mod. Stock diffs won´t last a week on 5s with those tires, neither will the driveshafts. You should take a look at Mistercrash Thread.
You could either use summit shafts or modify Lst cvd´s to fit. I would re install the rollbar and reroute the wiring from the spurgear. I would also mount the esc on the rear shockmount instead so it sits lower.
The problems I have had with my revo really havent stopped. Axles I can say best rc off of ebay are junk I blew through those in about 5 minutes are at least one of them. The hop-ups from traxxas need longer cups if your going to run them on your e Revo, wait nevermind yours isn't a e Revo. I know if your run the traxxas axles on the e revo you have to get the longer cups because they will pop out like crazy. Honestly after going threw a ton of options and throwing more money at axles that I should have I ended up with MIP. These cvds kick ass and they are a full cvd with lots of travel. The centers on my E Revo lasted a long time I just blew on out and I am looking to see what I am going to do next with it. The MIP axles need to be shimmed on the hub to tighten them up but are the best options without a ton of mods. The diffs are junk I am going to switch over to lst diffs because they are just a lot stronger. After being on here for awhile everyone has really told the truth you fix one thing and it travels up your drive train to the next week point. I started with axles fixed that problem and now it is the diffs. I also had some issues with the diff but I switched to a RRB gen 3 and it solved those problems. I am not sure how the slipped works on the nitro but I know if you set it a little lose it will save you axles diffs and a ton of other issues. Hope this info helps.
