Lipo Testing Advice

Greetings!

I want to test my personal lipo collection. I have an Eagle Tree and a brushless set-up with an airplane propeller to provide the load.

I am seeking suggestions as to the strategy for testing my packs against each other.

For example, here is what I am thinking so far:

-Full batteries at room temp, approx 1 hour off the charger. ETree Temp probe taped to the battery.

1) 0-100% throttle and hold for 1 second.
2) Rest at 0% for 5 seconds, then repeat step 1.
3) Repeat 1 & 2 four times
4) 0-100%, and hold for 10 seconds
5) Rest at 0% for 5 seconds, then repeat step 4.
6) Repeat 4 & 5 four times
7) Hold throttle at 100% for 60 seconds
8) Rest at 0% for 60 seconds
9) Hold throttle at 50% for 60 seconds
10) Hold throttle at 25% for 5 minutes

If I did this for each pack, it should be a reasonable means for comparing them to each other I think. I'm not trying to compare brands to brands or anything, this is just for my own nerdy enjoyment.

Thoughts on how I could improve this?

I just discharge them at 35-40 amps and charge them right back up with zero cooldown. I check the battery temp during discharge. The pack actually cools down when charging. I do one more cycle, but this time charge them at 20A and check the resistance of each cell. Now the pack is ready for the test.

The rest I would do the same as what you have described.

I did some testing last night, and it was pretty cool to see the results.

This comparison wasn't meant to show brand vs brand. All these packs are used and abused. I was just curious to see how they compared. Although the result is obvious, it's cool to see on a graph how much better the 1600 packs do in parallel than by themselves.

I did 3 full throttles for 10sec, with 10sec rest between. Then I did a 50% throttle run for 60sec, and ended with another 10sec full throttle burst. I let them recover for 45sec, then ended live mode.
