Tried to sell the SCTen didn't happen, so I am going buggy. Placed an order for some parts and started tearing her down. Thought I would start a thread to show this.

Started as:

Then slowly to:

Got to this:

More pics to come. Oh and SCT parts are for sell!

So I haven't really got to spend some time on this one in a bit so I finally got around to tearing it apart. I redid the diffs as well with some green slime to hopefully prevent the slight leak I had. Got fresh towers and bulkheads. As well as some other goodies, are to come.

This is the left overs from the SCT conversion. Any one want them let me know, think cheap.

So after seeing the capability of some of the new Castle SCT motors I think I am going to go towards a 2s power plant for this guy... Should be interesting...

Man I am watching your thread, I have been wondering the same thing about the 2s. My buddy has the SCT set up in CRT and he says it lights it up, so I am thinking it will on the 810.

Well I decided for the time being to go with Castle's 2650 with the MMM on 3s for the time being. If I start tearing up output cups, I think I will switch to 2s and a 550 size. Ultimately I like the idea of 2s because I have some pretty nice packs already.

Oh, and she is pretty much done, so I will get some pictures up later this weekend.

Just ordered two 3s Hardcase lipos from Hobbyparts. I am going to try their new Sky Lipo Hardcases. So looks like 3s is here to stay. Similar to the weight of the Ve8 so I don't see the hurt in it. Besides, I here with the new Short Coarse production model they are going to be making some upgraded outputs.

I already have my eyes on the aluminum goodies, like the machined shock caps.

As promised some pictures of the completed buggy...

Here is the link to it's power source, which I should have some time this week.

More to come once I get everything tuned in. I still need to get ahold of a PT and get it in there as well.

Oh and this stuff is freaking awesome would highly recommend for use on our hobbies ESC's or anything that needs to be mounted.

I am using it to hold the MMM down, from a bench test scenario it hasn't moved under all of my testing, I.E. tugging, wrenching, pulling, etc.

Buggy looks great, can you post a parts list plz ?

I bought the aftermarket 17mm hubs and their sloppy, hows the 810 hubs fit ?

De-anodized can looks good also, I did the same with a 1512 1800kv mill. I like the Castle green but in some Rc's just clashes to much. Silver is nice.

I run my 10T on 3s and NEU 1512 2550kv and it's a bulllet, you'll appreciate the light weight and power !

The loctite tape, is it clear ? It's probably very close to the Parma tape, badazzed stuff !

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I tried to get all of the green off, as you can see there is still some residual left. I also attempted to polish it as much as possible.

I am not using the 810 hubs, these are old revo proline 17mm hubs that I had to dremel up a bit to get them to work, but they have zero slop and work great.

The loctite tape is clear without the red film and the stuff works wonders, I am a bit upset I never found it earlier.

As for a parts list this is the best that I can do:
Losi Ten T
RCM Ten T conversion
Castle 2650
Castle MMM
RX: Spectrum SR3100
TX: Spectrum Dx3-s
AE XP DS1015
Soon to have Sky Lipo 3s 40c 5000mah hardcase
Diffs: 70-100-30
Front and rear gold springs
Front shocks: 60ish
Rear shocks: 40ish
Wheels: aka
Tires: Proline calibers m4
Body: Losi 810
Wing: Losi 810

Specs:
Rear Camber: 1.5
Front Camber: 2
Rear toe: Stock (Fixed)
Front toe: 2
Ride height: roughly 1.15 inch
geared 18/52

All specs are rough as my set up gear is not professional.

Oh...

Basically the body, wing, hubs, and wheels/tires. Everything else stays the same.

Sweet and simple, thanks.
When I need a new body for my 10T I'm going this route.

Buggy body uses the same body mounts ??
