I've waited years, finally got lipo, for my brushless sled :D got the battery for 20 dollars, 2s 5000mah hardcase! And charger was 28, 6s 5A Its on balance charge right now, then gonna go try my sled on lipo!

Trev, you're going to love lipo's the power they make is just insane next to the nimh's we used to run.

I've been real happy with the turnigy 5000mah packs I bought and after a few cycles they realy liven up, if your impressed your first run just remember it gets a little better still :-)


If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

I should take a vid of my sled, but the snow is too deep for it, it just sinks ): It has 2s lipo, sidewinder5700 :D Its power'd via compo power supply, so dc.

Do you have one of those ArtAttack RC sleds? Or is a different type?

Might want to look at making an adapter for your main battery charge leads, you don't want the little gator clips to slip out and create a short. Charger might have built-in protection, but you don't want to rely on that!

One of those new bright ones, the gear box is slowly dying, i have a wheely king tranny all modded ready to go in when ever i get bored enough to do it, haha. Yeah, gator clips are bad, but i got real excited, im doing that tonight actually (:
