Castle only sell Y wind motors. Something to do with the Y wind being slightly more effecient of the 2 types, and I am guessing it is cheaper to only tool for 1 type of termination.
The new 1512 is the same size as the 2650 motor, the finned can neu is just about the same diameter, the smooth can is 39mm diameter |

Just found a 1412/1Y S for 128 Euros here in Germany.
the 14xx do have the same rotor as the 15xx series, right ? I just like to try a CC can for my 3S RC8 Setup. Mirko Brushless motors have to be green .... |
