I thought the LST2 Spindle was tough! but the CEN is a beast! im interested to see how this works out! i have come too far with the CEN! I just hope they can handle 9s power ...

The CEN Shafts are just ridiculous! interested to see if a CEN Spindle and CVD work with a LST2 Hub!

Ok, tried the cen knuckle with the lst c hub and a savage arm (as it normally attaches to a savage bulk.

The cvd is too short. Not by much, but it is too short. This fits with the fact the cen arm is slightly shorter than the savvy arm.

Since the cen arm is a direct fit for the savvy I will continue with that. Will need vorza diff output cups, so I will order them today. Might also snag up the required cen hingepins to mount the c hub to the cen arms. I am also looking into a way to use the cen upper arm.

I will get some pics up in a few.

Thanks Aqwut, I did get this idea from another guy, but figured I could put my own spin on it!

Sure, did not have the camera handy when I mocked it up. With the X diff outputs the shaft is about 3mm too far out. I am not sure if you can get longer diff outputs, that would be what you need to get the cvd end seated in the cup correctly.

I will also post pics of the cen lower arm, with the cen c hub and cen spindle. With the lst diff outputs the cen cvd is in just the right place. The cross pin on the ball end of the cvd will have to be trimmed slightly, but I have high hopes that the vorza diff outputs will be a perfect fit. You can even use the cen inner lower hinge pin to hold the lower arm to the bulk, fits perfectly and is reatined by a nylock nut.

Linc, can you please list down all the parts needed for this cen arms mod? Since Ive already bought the CVDs, I think I have to proceed with this.

And would also appreciate if you could post some pics on the savage arm- lst hub - cen axle carrier mod.

Ok here we go:

cen lower arms
cen cvds
cen c hubs w/bolts and spacers
cen knuckles
cen bearings
m3 bolts to hold c hub to arms
savvy ss adj upper arms
vorza diff cups (waiting on them to make sure they fit and work)
spacers/washers to take up slack between savvy upper arm and cen c hub
cen 23mm hexs

Pics:

Note the small spaces on either side of the upper arm, this is where the washers need to go:

Diff output cup in pic is from a lst, but it is too tight in the diff case. The vorza cup looks to be identical but should fit the hpi savvy diff case better.

And here is the lst c hub pics. The diff output cup is a stock X cup and it is the longest cup I have seen, and the pics shouw how the cvd is just not long enough.

hmmm this is a great mod! I would have gone this route, but the availability of CEN parts for me are minimal.
The HPI Sway Bar kit does not work with the CEN Arms...

Otherwise it is so worth doing this just for those shafts!!! LOOK SOLID!

I just hope the LST Shafts are just as strong as the SHD shafts.

If only Savage arm could be used.. I just dont want to waste my Flextec arm.

And Jahay, you can always use bluegroove sway bar. reviews say they are quite good.
