Any one try this? - 03.07.2011, 12:43 AM

Hey guys, i have 3 tq's and 3 rc's, an only 2 rx's.was thinking of getting this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10608 and putting the electronics in one of the tq's. Im only running a brushless rustler, brushless merv and a crawler, so i don't need a whole computer radio. Think it'll work? i mean for 20 bucks im gonna try next time there in stock for the usa warehouse. Worse comes to worse i'll just use it in the orig., case. any input?

Go to hobbypartz, they have the same radio under the flysky brand, and it should be instock. Free shipping to, from cali!

As far as putting the internals into a tq, I would like to see it if you do it!

why put internals into a TQ?
Radio feels fine to me :) works great as well! I would get the one with model memory though. I bought that one and it is the only feature I wish it had...otherwise amazing!

Why not just ues it as is? Are you afraid that others will make fun of you? If so just smoke em with your TX and let them wonder why. It looks like it would work just fine the way it is. Not bad for $17.

Well why not? Like stated i like the tq feel. but i just have fun modding stuff. I like using stuff i modified, kinda gives me that good feelings. I'll just run it if i can't make it work. I just thought it'd be cool.
